Mathew has decided that walking is a good idea! No more crawling in the mud. Well, maybe not so much. And he got the last of his teeth poked through, so we don't have to deal with anyone cutting teeth for another year or so.
Peter is off to get his last (hopefully!) cast this morning. I think he'll have to keep this one for 2 or 3 weeks, and then be done with a crooked foot for good!
Patrick's phrase of the week is, "That's gigusding!" (He uses it most appropriately when I'm changing a stinky diaper.) And his new favorite song, sung in only one volume at the top of his lungs, is "And the walls came tumbling down!" We're trying to teach him the rest of the song so that we don't have to listen to just one line repeated over and over.
The garden is still going great guns, and my little eggplants are almost ready to pick. We've also staked out a couple good places around the neighborhood to raid for blackberries and plums, but still doing recon for a good pear tree. We planted multicolored carrots this year, and pulled a couple last week. Mathew enjoyed his the most, probably because he was cutting teeth!
